This notice explains how personal data is processed when you visit this TakeAlign website preview. It covers the website and its interactive demonstration, not the downloadable TakeAlign software or the QR Sync iOS app.

2. Website hosting

This preview is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Delivering the website and protecting it against abuse involves processing technical request data, including your IP address, requested URL, request time, browser information and response details.

The purpose is to operate a reliable, secure website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in delivering and securing this service. Cloudflare processes hosting data as a service provider; its own privacy notice also explains processing for which Cloudflare acts as controller.

Cloudflare operates a global network, so data may be processed outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Its Data Processing Addendum describes international transfer safeguards, including applicable adequacy frameworks and standard contractual clauses. We do not maintain a separate visitor analytics database. Technical data is retained only as needed for delivery, security, troubleshooting and applicable legal obligations; provider-side retention depends on the hosting service and security configuration.

3. Interactive demo, videos and fonts

The demonstration runs in your browser using supplied sample footage and simulated clip data. Timeline selections, playback controls, search and QR selections are held in the page’s memory. The demo does not upload your camera files, generate a real export or send your demo interactions to us.

Videos, images and font files are served from this website. No embedded YouTube, Vimeo, external font service or third-party calendar is loaded.

4. Cookies and tracking

The website code does not set analytics or advertising cookies and does not use browser local storage to track visitors. No analytics or advertising scripts are included in this preview. Cloudflare may process technical security data and, where a security feature requires it, use necessary cookies. Details are provided in Cloudflare’s cookie documentation.

5. Early Access preview

The Early Access form is a visual preview only. Registration is not enabled: the email field is disabled and no email address is submitted, stored or added to a mailing list. We will update this notice before enabling registration.

6. Contact by email

If you email us, we process your email address, message and any information you choose to provide to respond to your request. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information. Processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual enquiries, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for our legitimate interest in responding to other enquiries.

Messages are handled through our email service. We retain correspondence for as long as necessary to address the enquiry, subject to applicable statutory retention obligations or the need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Sending an email is voluntary.

7. Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, particularly in the EU country of your residence, workplace or the alleged infringement. The authority for our location is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW).

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

8. Changes

We will update this notice when the website’s data processing changes, particularly before enabling Early Access registration or introducing additional services.
